KTM XC cross-country range heading to Oz

KTM is bringing a limited number of 2025 XC and XC-F models to Australia, with the cross-country models getting the same updates as their motocross counterparts.

Changes to the frame, swingarm, and brake pedal help with weight reduction, chassis flex characteristics, and durability, while the WP XACT close-cartridge spring fork and XACT linkage shock have also been updated.

There are also new tank shrouds with bi-composite plastics, an updated fuel tank mount, new in-mold graphics, and an updated 1-piece air inlet sleeve and snorkel.

The XC and XC-F range differs from the SX and SX-F motocross bikes by adding a larger fuel tank (8.5L), an 18-inch rear wheel, a side stand, hand guards, and a skid plate all as standard. The extra equipment enhances the platform’s credentials as a competitive off-road and cross-country racer.

For 2025, KTM is now offering the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) as an optional extra on the XC-F lineup. The CUO offers a range of functionalities that are enabled with the KTMconnect smartphone app.

Pricing is yet to be announced, but the 2025 KTM XC and XC-F range is expected to land on Australian and New Zealand shores in limited numbers from July 2024 onwards.
