KTM unleashes “flagship” 1390 Super Duke RR

The new 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR is headed Down Under with a bit more flair than the standard R version

KTM has pulled the covers off its new 2026 1390 Super Duke RR model, calling it “the undisputed flagship” of the brand’s street range.

Priced at $45,695 ride away, the new RR version is expected to arrive locally from June 2026 in “extremely limited numbers”, with only 350 examples available worldwide.

It sheds 11kg from the standard 1390 Super Duke R and adds high-spec components, making it one of the brand’s most performance-focused street bikes.

Powered by KTM’s latest-generation 1350cc LC8 V-twin, the RR produces 190hp and 145Nm and benefits from the brand’s “Camshift” technology. Adding to the bike’s firepower is an Akrapovic slip-on exhaust.

The RR comes equipped with WP Pro suspension components that utilise MotoGP-inspired technology and offer “expert-level” adjustability and stability.

Also featured on the RR are ultra-lightweight wheels, race-ready Michelin Power GP Hypersport tyres, and Brembo HyPure Sport front brakes.

KTM has fitted the RR with its full suite of electronic features, and the bike also debuts an all-new 8.8-inch touchscreen display.

A unique graphics kit, winglets that help increase downforce, and a new headlight design all give the bike a striking visual edge.
