Honda has launched what it says is Australia’s first six-year motorcycle warranty program.
The standard factory warranty for eligible on-road Honda motorcycles delivered on or after July 1, 2025, will increase from two years to three years.
If riders complete their standard scheduled services at an authorised Honda dealer, they will unlock an extra three years of extended, unlimited-kilometre warranty, effectively tripling warranty coverage.

There are no additional costs involved in activating the extended warranty offer, and the warranty is transferable if a first owner decides to sell their motorcycle before the end of the warranty period.
Honda’s six-year warranty coverage applies to its on-road range, including models such as the CB125F and Navi, through to high-end machines like the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade superbike and Gold Wing tourer. Honda’s adventure models are also eligible, including the Africa Twin and Transalp.

“This is a major step forward for Australian riders,” said Chris Schultz, Honda Australia’s GM of Powersports and Products. “We are proud to be the first motorcycle manufacturer in Australia to offer up to six years of warranty coverage for eligible on-road models. This reflects the confidence we have in our engineering and the value we place on long-term customer support.”
The six-year motorcycle warranty applies only to motorcycles delivered on or after July 1, 2025, and used for private, non-commercial purposes. The extended warranty requires bikes to be serviced at authorised Honda centres using genuine Honda parts, oils, and lubricants.
