When Yamaha announced the demise of the long-running YZF-R6 earlier in 2021, it became obvious that it would replace it with an all-new machine. That all-new machine was the YZF-R7, a 689cc twin-cylinder supersport machine based on the popular MT-07.

Arguably the most talked-about bike of 2021, the hotly-anticipated Harley-Davidson Pan America was unveiled in Hollywood-like fashion; literally with Hollywood star Jason Momoa’s help. Depending on who you speak to, it was well worth the wait.

For a bike that simply received ABS, EFI and LED lighting for the first time, the new 2022 KLR650 really shouldn’t have been big news. The fact that it was one of our top-rating stories goes to show how popular this legendary bike really is.

Spoiler alert – yes it is. Many online commenters suggested it was pure fantasy that Triumph would build a motocross and enduro range. But the British manufacturer confirmed our suspicions, with Ricky Carmichael and Ivan Cervantes helping Triumph to hit the dirt.
