Hollywood itself couldn’t script a better story. KTM won its first world title in 1974 with motocross racer Gennadij Moiseev. Fifty years later, the Austrian firm has amassed a claimed 340 world titles in multiple disciplines.
Many of those titles have come in the Enduro World Championships and, more recently, the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.
To celebrate that enduro dominance, KTM has revealed all-new Champions Editions of four of its popular EXC models.
Incorporating the KTM 250 EXC, 300 EXC, 350 EXC-F, and 450 EXC-F, the Champions Editions range adds a Red Bull KTM Factory Racing graphics kit and a swag of bonus parts and accessories.
Added features include an orange frame, a frame protection set, ODI lock-on frips, an orange factory seat, map-select switch, an orange front axle puller, a semi-floating front brake disc, a SuperSprox Stealth rear sprocket, a skid plate, a radiator fan, and a set of Michelin Enduro tyres.
As a way of showcasing the Champions Editions bikes, KTM has employed three off-road legends to pilot the machines in select events. Two-time enduro world champion Johhny Aubert, hard enduro icon Chris Birch, and Erzbergrodeo winner Andreas Lettenbichler, will take on the 2024 International Six Days Enduro in October as part of the KTM All-Star Team.
The 2025 KTM EXC Champions Editions are expected to be available from KTM dealers in Australia and New Zealand from 2024 onwards. Pricing is yet to be announced.
