Honda hospitality at Oz MotoGP

For keen motorcycle racing fans, there's probably nothing better than attending the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island every year.

The 2010 event runs October 15-17 and Honda has opened its books for top shelf experiences at the world-famous event, with tickets now on sale for corporate hospitality suites from $785.

Yamaha has a similar deal at the 2010 Oz MotoGP for $830. See the blue link for details.

Back to the Honda deal, and this $785 price will get you, and we quote: "...entry to the circuit, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for each day of the event, plus cloak room facilities and grandstand seating.

"Ticket prices also include live circuit TV screening all the action as it happens, pit passes and a gift of Honda merchandise. Soft drinks are free and bar drinks are also available for purchase."

Split that cost over the three days and it works out, in a very rough and uncalculated estimate, to $261.66.

Seeing the way the HRC bikes are performing, the company could see a few more of these top-end tickets going on sale as the race approaches.

Also like Yamaha's "Exclusive MotoGP Dinner Function", Honda is also holding a "Champion's Dinner" which will take place on Friday October 15 at one of the Island’s best tasting venues, Infused restaurant.

Compared to Yamaha's $199 dinner, the Honda event is a more affordable option at $155 per head. At the same token however, Valentino Rossi won't be at the Honda event...

The Champions Dinner includes a three course dinner at Infused restaurant, where MotoGP HRC riders including Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso, Randy De Puniet, Toni Elias and Alex de Angelis are expected to attend.

MC-ing the event will be Leigh Diffey and Daryl Beattie, which should make for an interesting night of conversation - particularly with rider interviews being conducted throughout the evening.

Honda reckons bookings are "strictly limited" for both events, and patrons are encouraged to get in early to avoid disappointment.
