Honda goes deal crazy

Australia's number one motorcycle company has announced a quartet of cashback deals across road, dirt scooter and ATV models

We just received a mega batch of emails from Honda, detailing a clutch of new special deals on new motorcycles. The Japanese company is clearly trying to bump up sales early in the year, and with no less than four promotions it could well achieve its goal.

First cab off the rank is the "incredibly low 5.99% interest rate" on finance for the VT1300CR, VT1300CS cruisers and the VT1300CX chopper. And like all of the deals listed here, it runs between February 1 and March 31, 2011.

The next deal involves not cruisers, but dirt bikes - if you buy a CRF450X or CRF250X before March 31, you get $500 HondaDollars that can be used "in the dealership towards the purchase price, on accessories or for servicing."

Deal number three is another HondaDollars promotion, with $200 of the special currency available to riders who purchase the Honda Lead 100 scooter before March 31. This particular Honda Lead four-stroke scooter happens to be Australia's most popular scoot to boot. What a rhyme!

The lucky last deal from Honda is yet another HondaDollars giveaway, this time for anyone who snags a TRX250TM, Honda's best-selling ATV. Buyers get a handy $500 HondaDollars when they purchase a TRX250TM which can be used "in the dealership towards the purchase price of the ATV, towards servicing or for accessories to pump up the ride."
