Honda is backing the Western Australia Trail & Enduro club’s annual rally, now to be called the Honda Adventure Rally.
The event traditionally attracts up to 400 participants, and is a non-competitive trail ride for all levels of riders.
In a first for the event, Honda will be providing a new CRF230F as the main prize.
One of the event organisers, Baden Barker, said the club is looking forward to hosting their biggest rally yet on the weekend of 24-25 May.
"Although this is the 22nd year of the event, this is the first time we have had the CRF230F to give away as the major prize so a big thank you to Honda for that."
"There will also be plenty of other goodies for the entrants. We normally have a foot race to grab a Nolan helmet, and again this year we will give away a brand new Pilot air compressor valued at over $800. Each rider will also receive a commemorative tee shirt and badge," Baden said.
This year, the event will include two loops of approximately 70km each, with a lunch break back at the start point.
The ride itself will take place on the Sunday with an optional riding workshop to also be presented on Saturday, 24 May.
