First unveiled at last year's Tokyo Motor Show, the machine is only a concept at this stage and promises some interesting innovations. It claims a 903cc inline four engine mated to a shaft drive via what the company describes as as a “sports automatic” transmission.
Two helmets fit under the bulbous rear end, while the windscreen has a unique venting system, taking air from the duct in the front of the fairing and ducting it via a slot in the top edge of the screen. The company claims it greatly reduces turbulence for the rider.
Despite the machine's size, Honda claims it weighs in at under 200 kilos.
Another pair of machines on show will be the 250 and 600 versions of the Silverwing. The 600 runs a 50-horse parallel twin and weighs around 220 kilos.
