Ducati Melbourne West opens
Ducati’s footprint in Melbourne has expanded with the official opening of its latest dealership, Ducati Melbourne WestMelbourne-based Ducatisti now have a new dealership to embrace, with the recent opening of Ducati Melbourne West in Essendon Fields, in the Victorian capital’s north-western suburbs.
A gala opening for the new outlet took place on Friday, May 27, with around 200 guests in attendance to mark the occasion.

A purpose-built facility spread over 360 square metres, and complete with new-model showroom, servicing facilities, factory apparel and accessories, and even a café, Ducati Melbourne West is a part of the long-established Preston Motors Group, and the result of a collaboration between the motor vehicle retailer and Ducati Australia and New Zealand.
“Preston Motors Group is already a part of our Volkswagen family with its long association with Porsche,” said Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati Australia and New Zealand.
“Its existing legacy with customer experience and performance aligns with the global Ducati dealer network. I’m excited to see the dealership open with such a passionate team and to see the Ducati community continue to grow with this state-of-the-art facility.”
According to Preston Motors Group Chief Executive Officer, Robert Gattereder, the opening of the store strikes a very personal chord.
