Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour back for 2027 – and it’s cheaper

Ducati is bringing back its up-spec, tour-ready Multistrada for 2027, and for a more affordable price

Ducati has revived the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour for 2027, with the beefed-up adventurer touring offering extra touring equipment and rider-assistance technology as standard.

The Grand Tour was first available in 2024, but was not available as a 2025 or 2026 model. There are no major changes for the 2027 version, and it will be priced almost $2k lower at $43,725 ride away.

Ducati expects the latest version to arrive in Australia from April 2027, following European deliveries from November and US availability from December.

Based on the Multistrada V4 S, the Grand Tour comes standard with radar-assisted Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Forward Collision Warning, along with tyre-pressure monitoring, auxiliary LED lights, dynamic turn signals and a rear fog light.

Heated grips and heated seats for both the rider and passenger are also standard, as are 60-litre side cases and a centre stand.

The Grand Tour is distinguished by its dedicated red and black livery, with matching graphics on the side cases and black finishes for the frame, swingarm, handlebars and triple clamps.

It also features Ducati’s Automatic Lowering Device, which lowers the motorcycle by up to 30mm at speeds below 10km/h before returning to normal ride height above 50km/h. An Easy Lift function is designed to reduce the effort required to lift the bike from its side stand.

Power comes from Ducati’s 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing 170hp (125kW) at 10,750rpm and 123.8Nm at 9000rpm.

The engine uses Extended Cylinder Deactivation, which can shut down the rear cylinder bank under certain riding conditions. Ducati claims this can reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to six per cent compared with the previous-generation engine.

Other equipment includes Ducati Skyhook semi-active suspension with Auto-levelling, Cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control, a 6.5-inch TFT display with navigation and smartphone integration, and a hands-free fuel cap.

Ducati also quotes 60,000km valve-clearance inspection intervals for the Multistrada V4 family and offers a four-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty through its Multistrada 4EVER program in applicable markets.
