New Scorpa flow

Scorpa Australia reckons it has just landed some examples of the new Yamaha-powered SY250R at a recommended price of $8990.

According to the blurb: With the help of Marc Colomer (ex World Champion, and now Scorpa development rider) the flagship, two-stroke trials bike has undergone some significant changes.

These include:

  • Improved and modifiedeExhaust system (intermediate exhaust and muffler) for more power
  • Head cylinder shape has been modified (for better response) and it also has a higher combustion ratio.
  • Modification of the rotor assembly.
  • A new handlebar bend.
  • Upper and lower billet triple clamps, and head stem pivot. These are now the same as the four-stroke SY250F.
  • Handlebar clamps now have fore and aft adjustment.
  • New headlight.
  • New rear shock.
  • New lighter front forks, same as SY250F - 400 grams lighter.
  • New rear fender shape. Same upswept shape as the previous works bikes.
  • Modifications to the foot pegs position.
