Harley-Davidson Australia has taken its sponsorship of V8 Supercars further in 2010, adopting prominent placing on the Jack Daniel's Racing cars that will be piloted by brothers Todd and Rick Kelly.
The company says that the V8 Supercar audience one of its most important target markets, adding that the four-wheeled motorsport is "the #1 followed sport by not just Harley owners but also riders of other motorcycle brands."
As well as the bold advertising on the Jack Daniel's Racing Holden race cars, Harley-Davidson Australia also plans on increasing its presence at some of the V8 Supercar rounds throughout the calendar.
For instance there will be a dyno drag simulator so enthusiasts can "touch, smell and feel the brand". H-D will also have co-branded merchandise and the American motorcycle maker will also have Harley stunt ride Matt Mingay showing what can be done on two wheels.
"It gives me goose bumps to think about the brands that are associated with our team," said Rick Kelly.
"...Harley-Davidson and all of our sponsors suit Jack Daniel's Racing really well and the big thing we have in common with all of our sponsors is that we are extremely passionate about our brand, our racing and our business.
"All of our partners are very much a part of our team, not just a sponsor," added Rick Kelly.
The Kelly brothers have been long-time Harley enthusiasts, and the partnership will be seen for the first time in Australia on February 8th at Winton Motor Raceway in Victoria at the first official test day of the season.
The official racing begins in the Middle East at the Yas Marina Circuit on February 18.
