Here's what they had to say: Members will be able to join the Association, which in 2006 celebrates its 10th birthday, by visiting www.triumphmotorcycles.com Once on-line customers will supply their contact information, identify their preferred authorised Triumph dealer and list details of which bike(s) they own. After initial registration, members will be able to retrieve their details on-line to change personal or bike details, and more importantly to renew their membership which will need to now be done at the end of each year.
The whole process will take less than 10 minutes and will entitle members to four editions of Torque, the highly acclaimed magazine of the Riders Association of Triumph. Featuring news, insider profiles and schedules of ride outs and events from across the world, Torque is the mouthpiece of the Riders Association, and the best way to keep in touch with all things Triumph. In addition to Torque, members will receive priority entrance to the thousands of R.A.T. riding and social events that happen each year.
Commenting on the changes, Simon Carter the International Club Manager said "Free membership of the Riders Association is a positive step forward, both for Triumph Motorcycles and for all Hinckley Triumph owners. Joining the Association has never been quicker or easier, and our online system will offer more customers the opportunity to keep in contact with Triumph Motorcycles. Moving the administration of the club online to www.triumphmotorcycles.com will now free up our R.A.T. coordinators time, and allow them to concentrate on designing and planning better events - in addition to developing and support more R.A.T. Packs at Triumph dealerships."
