Yamaha goes brutish for Paris

Yamaha has gone in for a complete restyle for its FZ1 naked bike, completely ditching the old sports-tourer look for an unashamedly brutish appearance

The technical side of things has also been upgraded. Now the machine claims 150 horses at 11,000rpm, 10.8kg-m of torque at 8000rpm, all tied to a package that claims a dry weight of 198 kilos. Fuel capacity is 18 litres, while the suspension and braking packages look to be a mix of familiar components including USD forks and monobloc front brakes.
