Hot on the heels of the announcement of the new Suzuki Hayabusa comes the official green light for its naked cousin - the B-King.
First shown as a concept bike a few years ago, the 1340cc machine shares much of its mechanical package with the 'Busa, but is tuned for more torque and less than the full-faired bike's 200 horsepower. It also runs two switchable ECU modes rather than the three employed by the new Hayabusa and current GSX-R1000.
Chassis basics are similar, though the front brakes run different spec calipers. We're told there is full suspension adjustment at both ends.
Suzuki has hinted the B-King is a leader model for a whole new series of naked bikes.
Intriguingly it will be priced higher in the USA market: US$12,900 versus $12,000 for the Hayabusa.
