Royal Enfield is marking its 125th anniversary with a limited-edition version of the Classic 650, featuring colour-shifting paintwork and gold detailing, with just 27 examples allocated to Australia.
The 125th Anniversary Edition Hypershift Classic 650 will be priced at $12,960 ride away in Australia, making it a more expensive alternative to the standard Classic 650, which is currently priced from $11,190 ride away.
Registrations of interest opened on October 16 and will close on October 27, 2026, with Australian deliveries expected to begin in November.
The anniversary model retains the existing Classic 650's mechanical package, with the limited-edition treatment focused on its appearance.

Its most distinctive feature is a bespoke paint finish that changes between red, green and gold depending on the light and viewing angle. The finish has a brass-coloured base, drawing inspiration from Royal Enfield's early motorcycles, while gold detailing, a 125th anniversary crest, special side-panel badges and hand-painted pinstripes provide further visual distinctions.
The motorcycle also retains the Classic 650's signature teardrop fuel tank and nacelle-mounted headlight, preserving the retro styling of the standard model.
Underneath the commemorative paintwork is Royal Enfield's established 650 Twin platform. The company has not announced any mechanical changes to the anniversary edition, which is positioned as a special-edition take on the existing Classic rather than a performance upgrade.

Royal Enfield says production will be limited to 125 motorcycles per key region globally, although the Australian allocation is considerably smaller at 27 units.
The $12,960 asking price represents a $1770 premium over the standard Classic 650, with exclusivity and the bespoke finish accounting for the main differences between the two models.
