Royal Enfield is planning to release five all-new models in the next 12 months as it continues to establish itself as one of the world’s most powerful motorcycle brands.
The Chennai-based giant, which is a subsidiary of Eicher Motors, sold 113,164 units in April 2026, marking a 31 per cent increase from 2025. India’s domestic market accounted for 104,129 of those sales, while exports dropped by 14 per cent to 9,035 units.

Royal Enfield was also recently named by UK-based brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance as the third “strongest” automotive brand in the world.
Brand Finance measures “brand strength” as the “efficacy of a brand’s performance on intangible measures relative to its competitors”. In other words, a brand’s strength is determined by its performance in areas that can’t be directly measured, like reputation, trust, and customer perception, as well as investment in marketing.

According to the Brand Finance rankings, Royal Enfield is bested only by Toyota (also rated the world’s most valuable brand) and BMW, beating the likes of Audi, Ferrari, and Porsche. Another Indian motorcycle brand, Hero, also made the top 10, alongside Indian car giants Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and Mahindra.
The next 12 months will prove important for Royal Enfield, as it rolls out its electric Flying Flea C6 model globally. Indian publication Autocar India also reports that five new models and updates to 13 existing models are expected.

Autocar says the new models will include the Himalayan 750, Continental GT750, and Scram 450, while a new Himalayan 440 will act as a more affordable option to the Himalayan 450. The fifth model is the Bullet 650, which debuted at EICMA in 2025.
The 750 models were teased at EICMA; however, there has been no word from the company on when they will be launched.
