Ride-away deal on VT750S
Honda has slapped a $9990 ride-away, no more to pay sticker on its casual cruiser, the VT750SIf you're looking for a summer cruiser to while away lazy weekends, Honda has just announced an all-inclusive price on its VT750S, which is available nationally for just $9990 ride-away.
We road tested the Honda VT750S recently and though it's not going to win any land speed records with its liquid-cooled 745cc V-twin - outputting 42hp (31kW) at 5500rpm and 62Nm at 3250rpm - it nevertheless makes for a good value proposition.
The bike's low 750mm seat combines with short and flat handlebars, not to mention a compact fuel tank, to "deliver a comfortable, relaxed riding position" according to Honda.
Braking is taken care of via 296mm disc brake at the front end, with a twin-piston caliper, and the rear end gets a 180mm drum brake.
Honda calls the design of the casual roadster "classic simplicity" and when photographed in black and white it looks suitably hip.
