At least that was the solution for Major General Farooq Ahmad Khan, Pakistan's Federal Relief Commissioner (pictured in the foreground) and Andrew Macleod, an Australian lawyer who is a United Nations Senior Adviser to the Pakistan Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority.
Following the Pakistan Earthquake of October 2005, Major General Farooq ran a very successful relief operation, the first stage of which has only wound down this year.
The pair was recently in Australia to meet with senior government figures and managed to squeeze in a quick ride into the hills east of Melbourne while they were in the country. The Major General, who owns a couple of bikes, hinted the ride was a lot more fun than sitting across the table from a politician and reckoned the Scrambler would be just the thing for the mountain roads back home.
