Complete with chunky-tread tyres, flat 'bars, a flat seat and a pared-back, minimalist design ethos, BMW says the model, "…harks back to an era of ultimate motorcycle freedom. Jump on the bike and head off to adventure – a secluded beach, your favourite twisty road or simply around town."
BMW Motorrad General Manager, Andreas Lundgren, said he's looking forward to the arrival of the Scrambler.
"The R nineT Scrambler is a striking new addition to the line-up, and it will appeal to many," he said.
"Riders can choose from a range of factory options including spoked wheels, off-road tyres, traction control and LED indicators, as well as a stunning brushed aluminium tank. It is a motorcycle that excites all the senses while being a delight to ride."
