There's a custom shop in Taiwan called Rough Crafts that has created a very neat and tidy Harley-Davidson Sportster custom.
Featured on the cover of new Taiwanese chopper mag Free Biker, the Guerrilla was created by Rough Crafts' Winston Yeh, who explained that he wanted to keep the profile of the bike as original as possible to adhere to Taiwan's "crazy" regulations.
These regulations stipulate yearly inspections for any 250cc-plus motorcycle over and five years old, and if the bikes in question are significantly different (visually speaking) compared to the original, they often aren't deemed roadworthy.
So rather than going all out, this Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883 has been careful massaged and lightly tweaked, resulting in a solid end product that retains most of the original bike's measurements.
One of the most noticeable aspects of the Guerrilla design is the exhaust system, which features impeccable plumbing and stylised heat shielding. The air filter, exhaust and mufflers are fabricated by Rough Crafts, as are the handlebars and controls, fenders, graphics and paintwork, head- and tail-lights, the tank and seat.
The finished product is a testament to Rough Crafts' attention to detail, with the dark colour scheme and Coker tyres adding a touch of attitude to an already engaging design.
