Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta has thrown its hat into the E-bike ring, revealing a pair of new electric-powered bicycles.
The MV Agusta AMO range takes the company’s Italian flair and elegance and applies it to the competitive E-bike segment.
The news follows the announcement that former MV Agusta boss Giovanni Castiglioni has teamed up with Melbourne-based Stealth Electric Bikes to develop a new range of models.

While Stealth leans more into dirt bike territory, the MV Agusta e-bikes will be pedal-assist, meaning that the motor only assists the rider to pedal faster and harder.
Two models will initially be available – the AMO RR and the sportier AMO RC. Both machines are road-friendly bicycles that are packed with premium equipment such as Pirelli Cycle-e wheels and tyres, Magura braking components, Fizik Vento saddles, Brooks Crambium grips, and Gates Carbon Drive CDX single-speed systems.
Each machine features a 250W pedal-assist motor and Mahle motion system, with a estimated range of about 75km. The bikes have a max speed of 25km/h, a charge time of 4 hours, and a total weight of 15.5kg.
The AMO RC, which is limited to just 200 units, checks in at €4100, while the more-affordable AMO RR has a price tag of €4100. There is no current word on whether the bikes will make their way to Australia.
