Here's something you don't see every day...
Harley-Davidson has launched a program inviting the public (customers, dreamers, suppliers, employees...) to "become a permanent part of the Harley-Davidson Museum".
Called "Living the Legend", it involves buying a personalized rivet that will be permanently displayed on either a curved steel wall or a special plaza on the grounds of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
The company expects the program to run through the end of 2007.
You purchase a 3-inch rivet, with up to three lines of text (18 characters per line) for $250, or a 6-inch version with up to four lines of text for $2500. Orders are taken on H-D.com.
