Kawasaki HR2 recall

Possibility that a wiring harness may get damaged on the supercharged rocket, which could result in stalling

Kawasaki Motors Australia has issued a product safety recall on the track-based version of its new 1000cc supercharged family, the H2R.

The issue is related to a possibility that the wiring harness on some units may be pinched or damaged, which "could result in an engine stall or worst case scenario, excess fuel injection which could lead to vehicle fire".

The recall applies to H2Rs sold between April 8, 2015 and May 26, 2015. Those customers affected are urged to book in their H2R for repair. Find your local Kawasaki dealer HERE.
