Honda's ATV freebies

Honda is keen to attract a few more ATV customers with $500 cashback and a seriously neat tool box

If you're in the market for a sports ATV, the kind that go really fast and look really edgy, Honda wants your patronage and is going the extra mile to get it.

Until September 30, 2010, Honda is offering $500 Honda Dollars back on four sports ATV models:

  • TRX250X

  • TRX400X

  • TRX450ER

  • TRX700XX

On top of the Honda Dollars -- which can be used at the dealership on anything from accessories to parts and servicing and on the price of the vehicle -- Honda is also giving buyers a free tool kit.

The tool kit is valued at almost $600, and is no Mickey mouse box of bolts. The tool kit comprises a nine-draw tool box, T-bar set and rack, a double sided exhaust bung, Allen key set, tyre levers and tie wire pliers.

The range-topping Honda TRX700XX is powered by a 686cc SOHC liquid-cooled fuel-injected, four-valve, four-stroke engine, and just so happens to be the most powerful ATV the company has ever built.

At the other end of the scale is the entry-level Honda TRX250Xm, which features a SportClutch to improve rideability for beginners.
