According to HRCA Manager Rob Watson, activities will include all of the major Gold Coast theme park attractions which will be available to rally guests at significantly reduced prices. "We are also having a major street party at MovieWorld on Saturday night, as well as quite a few organised tours, a charity poker run, the usual test rides of the Honda fleet and a whole lot more," he explained.
"What is so exciting about the 2007 rally is that we are offering something for everyone in the family. It's a great way to combine a holiday with a motorcycling adventure."
The event, which is being conducted in support of children's cancer research, will also be held one week prior to the Ulysses AGM at Coffs Harbour, approximately 400 kms away.
"Riders can combine the two events and have a fantastic week off if they plan ahead and book their holidays now."
Additional highlights of the HRCA Rally will include sponsored lunch rides, organised tours, free entry to the Broadbeach Blues Festival, product displays, industry seminars, shopping tours, race team appearances, and group rides from each capital/major city along the way.
Special Rally rates will also be offered for a wide variety of accommodation to suit all budgets. A nominal registration fee includes entry to the MovieWorld Street Party as well as a ticket in the draw to win a fantastic GL1800 Goldwing.
"Riders of all brands are welcome," Watson said. "We are already getting registrations at this early stage so it is going to be a huge event."
