Meanwhile the Australian branch of the company gets a new CEO at the start of June.
Peter Nochar joins Harley-Davidson with over 30 years of experience gained in both the wholesale and retail sides of the automotive industry.
Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Kia Motors Australia.
"I obtained my motorcycle licence when aged 16 and have always maintained an interest in motorcycles ever since. So, I am delighted to be joining Harley-Davidson. It's an exciting time in the motorcycle industry and I'm looking forward to working with the company's dedicated teams both in Australia and New Zealand to drive further profitable growth across the region," he said.
Nochar will replace automotive industry veteran John Shingleton, who will retire at the end of July. John joined Harley-Davidson in 2002 to set up the company's Australian subsidiary, which took over local distribution for Harley-Davidson and Buell products in 2006.
