Harley-Davidson has long been known for its association with and support of the US military, and now it's throwing its backing behind our own defence force members by partnering with local organisation, Australian Partners of Defence (APOD).
Australian Partners of Defence was founded in 2012 by veteran families, for veteran families, and it works with all sorts of businesses to secure exclusive offers for actively serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and their immediate family members.
The Harley-Davidson tie-up will now see APOD members receive a hefty 20 per cent retail sales discount off genuine Harley-Davidson parts and accessories, when purchased directly from any Australian Harley-Davidson dealership.

Harley-Davidson Australia says the initiative aims to recognise the sacrifice made by military personnel and their families to uphold our nation's values.
“Supporting the military has always been a core value of Harley-Davidson,” said Nigel Keough, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson Australia.
“Here in Australia, it’s an honour to do our bit in supporting the men and women of the defence force, and we’re thrilled to be extending our partnership program to Australian Partners of Defence (APOD).”
Harley-Davidson may have ended the production of military-spec bikes in 1998, but its involvement in America's military goes back over many decades, and many conflicts.
To receive the discount, APOD members need simply present their physical or digital APOD membership card at any Australian Harley-Davidson dealership.
