The annual Sheila’s Shakedown motorcycle rally is back again for 2023 and Harley-Davidson has jumped on board as a major sponsor to help celebrate.
Scheduled for February 3–5 in Ballan, Victoria, the Sheila’s Shakedown features live music and a wide range of activities, and is designed to bring together like-minded female motorcycle enthusiasts from around the country.
“Sheila’s Shakedown is about more than just motorcycles,” said organiser Remmi Aloni. “It’s about bringing a community together who empower each other and share their passions.”

The camping festival is open to motorcyclists and non-motorcyclists alike, and attendees can make their way to the event on either four or two wheels.
Harley-Davidson is sponsoring the main live music stage, with acts including Heavy Amber, The Miffs, Moody Beaches, OMG Becky, Clickbait, and Joyce Prescher.
According to the event’s website, the weekend will also feature a bike and car show and shine, market stalls, prizes, food and drink, tattoos, body painting, and, best of all, "shenanigans".

There will also be plenty of bars, a scenic ride on Saturday, karaoke, best dressed competitions, and the annual Sheila-lympics.
In addition to the main event, Harley-Davidson will also host a range of actitivies through its dealerships, including a garage party at Harley Heaven Dandenong. The event will feature guest speakers including Katie James, Emma McFerran, and Jess Riemsdijk.
“Through partnering with Sheilas Shakedown we are focused on supporting female motorcycling events and encouraging more women to ride,” said Harley-Davidson General Manager ANZ, Nigel Keough. “This is just part of a multi-year strategy to share the benefits of what riding brings to all people and we are excited to be kicking it off with this iconic event.”

Harley-Davidson is celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2023 and will mark the occasion with a multi-day music festival in Milwaukee with appearances from Foo Fighters and Green Day. The brand has also announced a range of anniversary models.
The 2023 Sheilas Shakedown will be supporting the Centre Against Violence with funds raised through the annual raffle. For information on tickets and accommodation, head to www.sheilasshakedown.com and checkout the official Instagram page (@sheilas_shakedown).
