Ducati reveals 2021 SuperSport 950 and new Panigale V4 SP
The Italian firm has pulled the covers off an updated favourite, and a new special edition modelDucati has continued its rollout of 2021 models by presenting an updated SuperSport 950 and the new Panigale V4 SP.
The 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 has been revised with fresh electronics and equipment, as well becoming Euro5 compliant.

Aesthetically, the new SuperSport 950 is now closer to the Panigale V4, with a new full LED headlight supported by two fins and flanked by two air intakes that widen the view. The fairings have also been redesigned to accentuate the sportiness of the bike and the air vents coming from the water radiator are inspired by the double extractor of the Panigale V4 models.
Electronically, the SuperSport 950 features a revised suite of rider aids and safety functions. The Bosch 6-axis IMU, works with an electronic package that features cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and electronic shifting. There are three ride modes, and a new 4.3-inch TFT display that features plenty of info and adjustment.
Other features of the SuperSport 950 include adjustable suspension, three-spoke Y aluminium wheels, Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tyres and high-performance Brembo braking components. The bike is powered by the 937cc Testastretta twin-cylinder engine, and weighs in at 184kg (dry).
The new Supersport 950 is available in red, with the more refined S version available in red and ‘Arctic Silk White'. The S version is equipped with Ohlins suspension and a passenger seat cover.
Pricing for the 2021 SuperSport 950 will start at $19,390 ride away (the S version is $21,850), and you can expect to find it in Ducati dealerships from May 2021.
Like the Supersport 950, the Panigale V4 family is also now Euro5 compliant. Weight, power, and torque all remain unchanged, but the electronics package has been updated with the latest generation of Ducati’s traction control. There are also revised ride modes, with two distinct mappings that can be configured by the rider.
Joining the Panigale V4 and V4 S in 2021, is the new Ducati Panigale V4 SP, which marks the return of the historic SP (Sport Production) acronym. Each unit is numbered, with the number engraved on the machined steering head.
The SP version, which produces 214hp, 12.6kgm of torque and weighs 173kg, has a dedicated livery and features elements derived from the Superleggera V4. These include carbon rims, brake callipers and master cylinders, dry clutch and chain size (520).
Other unique features include Rizoma anodized aluminium footpegs that are adjustable, and a special racing kit, that allows the rider to remove rear-view mirros, licence plate holder and open clutch cover for track use.
The livery is inspired by the official MotoGP and superbike teams, while the fuel tank is exposed aluminium, and the fairings are matte black enriched with fluorescent red details and carbon components.
Arriving in June 2021, the 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 SP will check in with a price tag of $51,890 ride away.
