CFMoto Leader 150cc

Powered by a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 145cc single-cylinder engine, the new CFMoto Leader 150cc has arrived in Australia priced from under $2000.

The Chinese manufactured motorcycle is LAMS approved and learner friendly, outputting a handy 14hp (10kW) at 9000rpm and 12Nm of torque 6500rpm. Considering the bike weighs just 116kg, this power should delivery plenty of poke, and priced at just $1990, the new model is expected to find favour with first-time and learner motorcyclists.

The CFMoto Leader 150cc has a big 16.5-litre fuel tank and, according to the Australian importer Mojo Motorcycles, its engine puts it ahead of its competition as the only bike with liquid-cooling in its class.

"It offers riders a combination of exceptional reliability, responsive performance, classic styling and a long list of rider friendly features," says Mojo Motorcycles.

In a press statement, the company also added that the CFMoto Leader 150cc is an agile performer that's easy to ride. "Its light weight chassis, low seat height and easy to use controls make the Leader 150cc the ultimate commuter and learner friendly package."

Mojo Motorcycles is also running a special promotional deal until April 30, which entitles CFMoto Leader 150cc buyers to a free DriRder jacket (pictured) valued at $299. The jacket is available via redemption, and comes with a zip-out liner, reflective piping and logos, velcro cuffs, and heavy duty material at impact points.
