CFMOTO has introduced a new high-tech version of its 800MT adventure-tourer, adding electronic suspension for the first time.
First unveiled at EICMA in 2025, the CFMOTO 800MT-ES is expected to hit Australian showrooms from late May with a price tag of $18,490 ride away. That places it $1500 above the 800MT Explore and $3500 above the dirt-focused 800MT-X.
The headline feature of the new ES version is the Intelligent Suspension System (ISS) – a semi-active setup that adapts to changing terrain, loads, and riding conditions in real time.

It’s the first time CFMOTO has fitted electronic suspension to a motorcycle. The system offers three damping levels, four-stage preload adjustment, speed-sensitive damping, road-adaptive damping, and anti-wheelie and anti-recoil functions.
Also fitted as standard to the 800MT-ES is a full alloy luggage package, including side panniers and a top box.
Like other versions of the 800MT, the ES is powered by a 799cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin adapted from KTM’s LC8c platform. It produces a claimed 70kW and 70Nm and is paired with a chromoly-steel trellis frame, a six-speed gearbox, and a slipper clutch.

The bike also features 19- and 17-inch wire-spoked wheels, J.Juan brakes, a steering stabiliser, and a full suite of electronics including a Bosch 6-axis IMU, a two-way quickshifter, ride modes, drag-torque slip control, and a large TFT display with smartphone connectivity. Heated seat and grips are also standard.
Two colour schemes are available – Glacier White and Neptune White – and the bike comes with a three-year factory warranty.
