BMW iPhone app: Beemer Trivia
Free app for iPhones and iPads tests your BMW motorcycle knowledgeBought an iPhone and don't have enough novelty apps yet? BMW has you covered with its new app, called Beemer Trivia.
The free program is available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and is designed to impress friends and colleagues with its quizzical questions.
"Do you know which motorcycle brand first featured an integrated fairing, hydraulically damped fork or ABS?" asks the app, which can be downloaded from iTunes.
There is a time limit to questions, represented by a full tank of petrol that slowly empties, but if you answer correctly you'll accumulate more 'miles'. Three wrong answers and it's game over.
Scores can be uploaded to an online leaderboard, so you can see who is world's most knowledgeable BMW nerd. There's also an option to submit your own questions and answers, which could make for interesting reading.
