Honda 2019 CRF450R and CRF250R motocross models will go on sale across Australia this month (September), with the dynamic duo boasting a range of updates and improvements.
Honda Australia says the new CRF450R now offers more engine performance through a new combustion chamber shape and "upgraded over-rev characteristics", while the frame and swingarm have been revised for optimal rigidity, the fork boasts revised settings and a new front brake caliper is said to be lighter than that of its predecessor.
The 2019 model features new ECU settings, HRC launch control and adjustable mounting positions for the new Renthal Fatbar handlebar.
Meanwhile, and off the back of a major overhaul for the 2018 model year, the 2019 Honda CRF250R now has extra low to mid-range engine performance, says Honda, thanks to a new cam profile developed by the Team HRC factory MX2 team.
New intake and exhaust port geometry improves low-rpm power, says Honda.
The model also comes with a choice of three engine modes and HRC launch control.
A Renthal Fatbar handlebar sits in a four-position-adjustable top clamp, while the braking system has been updated with a lighter, CRF450R-inspired caliper.
The 2019 CRF450R has a recommended retail price of $11,999, while the 2019 CRF250R retails for $10,999.
