The 2012 BMW TS Safari will take place between May 13-18, starting at Mt Panorama in Bathurst (NSW) and finishing on the Sunshine Coast (Qld).
Not to be confused with the GS Safari, which is the 'off-road' event, the TS Safari (Touren Sport) is based on sealed surfaces and is designed for riders who "prefer their riding with a more sporting or touring favour on the bitumen" according to BMW Motarrad.
To register for the event visit www.bmwsafari.com to complete the online registration form. Pillion riders are also welcome. Cost of registration is $550 per rider or $1050 for rider and pillion. Included in the entry fee is welcome and farewell functions, BMW Safari technical support, daily route sheets (plus marked route), a TS Safari t-shirt(s) and evening briefings for the next day’s ride.
Accommodation bookings will be released at the end of February and riders will have the choice of quality levels between three and five star, depending on your tastes and budget.
Once registered on the BMW Safari site regular emails will be sent to riders giving you all the info you need to make your Safari an enjoyable one. Like the BMW Safari Facebook page and you’ll join the community of Safari riders and get regular feeds of communication with the event organisers.
