Zero unveils anniversary model

Electric motorcycle heavyweight Zero Motorcycles has lifted the lid on a limited-edition model to celebrate 10 years of operations
Zero Motorcycles is marking its 10th year with the release of the limited-edition 10th anniversary Zero DSR, the model boasting a number of unique features to set it apart from the electric-bike manufacturer's stable.
The anniversary model is based on the all-electric DSR dual-purpose bike bike unveiled late last year, but features high-gloss metallic-black paint, 10th Anniversary graphics, a fast-charge tank, a rear rack, windscreen, hand guards, and red pin-striping on its rims.
While the standard model retails in America for $US14,395 ($A19,503), the anniversary model is priced in that market at $US18,995 ($A25,735). Just 50 examples of the 10th Anniversary Zero DSR will be manufactured at the company's facility in Santa Cruz, California.
No word yet on whether on the limited-edition model will be making it to our shores – watch this space...
