You're wanted behind bars in Van Diemen's Land

Reward: Jimmy Barnes live

Do I have your attention? I suspect I do, as the tag lines being used by the Harley-Davidson Owners Group (HOG) to promote its 19th annual rally in Launceston, Tasmania from November 6-8 are beauties.

This year, for the first time in history, the event will be open to the general public, and entertainment will include live performances by Jimmy Barnes and Lowrider, as well as a Thunder Run through Tasmania.

Pre-registration for the event, to be based at Aurora Stadium, has now passed, but on-site registration will be available - but minus all the additional treats for those revellers who got in early.

Other highlights of the 19th Annual HOG Rally will include:

  • Live entertainment from Straight 8s and the Giants;
  • Matt Mingay performing stunts on his Nightster;
  • Test rides on the 2010 Harley-Davidson range;
  • H-D technical seminars;
  • Meeting the Tassie Devils "Harley" and "Davidson" at Aurora Stadium;
  • A "Two-Headed" biker competition;
  • A Show and Shine;
  • Guided rides through the local area;
  • The chance to win a 2009 FXDF Fat Bob being raffled by the local Tasmania chapter; and
  • A Show Us Your Tatts competition
