YCF 50 adds an electric leg
New electric minibike from the French manufacturerYCF has unveiled its first electric bike in the form of the YCF 50E.
Price at $2499, the 36kg machine has a 1200W electric motor, powered by a 48V lithium-ion battery. Running time is between 1.4 and 2.5 hours.
The 50E offers throttle adjustment via a potentiometer screw on the electric motor, and the intended age group is between three and seven years. Training wheels are available with two levels of adjustment.
There are upside-down forks with CNC machined triple clamps, and the rear suspension is a monoshock design. There are cable-operated discs at both ends. Colours are black or pink.
