Yamaha's sleek 50cc Vino scooter has been updated, although it's uncertain whether the model will make it Down Under.
The latest version, with the model designation XC50, has a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected four-stroke, three-valve SOHC long-stroke engine, with a maximum output of 4.2hp (3.1kW) and 3.9Nm of torque.
Fuel capacity is 4.5lt, and it tracks on 10-inch rubber. There are drum brakes at both ends.
The Vino will retail for around $2500 in Japan. The superseded model is apparently still available locally, although Yamaha Australia's website now only lists the Jog and Aerox 50 as official members of its 50cc scooter brigade.
