Yamaha Stryker Bullet Cowl
The 60-degree V-twin gets a cowl and a green liveryYamaha Motor Australia has launched the Stryker Bullet Cowl—an obvious reference to the cowl that has been added on the 1304cc liquid-cooled V-twin, while a green camp livery completes the variation from the standard model.
Price is $15,999 for the XVS1300, with Yamaha's Star range of bikes now coming with a five-year extended factory warranty—which includes genuine parts fitted at time of purchase.
Mechanically, the Cowl model represents the same mechanical platform as the original Stryker (72hp at 5500rpm, 103Nm at 3000rpm), while the standout on the chassis is the raked-out front-end, joined by a low seat height (670mm), 210-section rear tyre and 21-inch front wheel.
The belt-driven machine has steel mudguards, slimline LED indicators, and the brakes are whoppers: 320mm at the front and 310mm at the rear.
