Yamaha offers three-month warranty extension

With many motorcycles spending more time in the shed than on the road during the COVID-19 pandemic, Yamaha has a warranty extension for eligible customers

Yamaha Motor Australia has introduced a three-month warranty extension for marine and motorcycle customers, giving them added peace-of-mind during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis.

The initiative has been introduced to ensure that customers who are unable to use their vehicles during the current COVID-19 restrictions are not left disadvantaged.

The Three month Warranty Extension applies to all motorcycle, outboard motor and WaveRunner products and to these groups between 1 April and 30 June 2020:

  • Existing warranty holders
  • Warranties that expire in this period
  • New models purchased in this period

The offer does not apply to ATVs and ROVs.

"We are constantly looking to introduce initiatives that offer both our dealers and customers more confidence in these uncertain times," says YMA Chief Operating Officer and Director Brad Ryan. "This extended warranty program is just one of several we have introduced recently,” he adds.
