Yamaha muscles up to customers

Has just launched a couple of retail promotions for its road bike range, with comprehensive insurance and tasty add-ons the carrots

Yamaha has launched its 'Muscle Up' promotion, offering 12 months' fully comprehensive insurance free when customers purchase a bike using the company's 5.99 per cent finance rate.

Bikes included in this offer include the all-new FZ8N and FZ8S, as well as the FZ1N/S; FZ6N/S and XJ6N/S and XJ6SL (LAMs models available in applicable states).

In addition, YMA is offering free GYTR carbon muffler kits with each YZF-R1/SP and YZF-R6 purchased from a participating dealer. The R1 also comes with $1000 cash back, while the R6 cops a $600 cash back. And both are available with the 5.99 per cent finance.

The carbon-fibre 94db mufflers, much lighter than the standard units, have removable end caps to allow repacking, and there's a removable insert for customers wishing to use their pipes at track days.

The mufflers are valued at $1590 (R1/R1SP) and $590 (R6).

Most participating dealers will be able to supply a demo unit.
