
Eight finalists from Australia and New Zealand who will compete in the 2011 Yamaha Oceania Motorcycle Technician Grand Prix, to be held in Sydney on September 28.
The Oceania finalists earned their position in the final by attaining a high level of achievement in Yamaha Technical Academy training programs, completing an online qualifying exam and scoring the highest mark for their respective region.
Over 200 participants attempted to qualify in the competition, which pits the top Yamaha service technicians against each other to find out who is the best of the best. The aim of the event is to recognise and motivate technicians to achieve the goal of exceeding customer after sales service expectations.
