Yamaha gets all aggressive
The company is doing deals on almost every single bike in its range as it battles with Honda for market leadershipYamaha Motor Australia is not shy about explaining the objectives of its latest promotional offer, which happens to cover almost every motorcycle in it range.
Simply put, it wants to sell bikes, and lots of them over winter, but can it topple Honda as the #1 bike brand in Australia? Time will tell...
While dealers are offering cash back of $600 and $1000 on the YZF-R6 and YZF-R1 respectively, along with free touring packs on some its cruiser range, the big news is that Yamaha is doing some tasty deals on its competition dirt bikes.
The WR450F and WR250F get a quartet of goodies, including two gifts, a Yamaha Racing jet washer and pop-up tent (combined value $800), plus a low 5.99 per cent finance rate. And then there's also the cash back on both models, $1000 for the WR450F and $750 for the WR250F. That's something like $1800 worth of extra value.
The YZ motocross bikes also get some winter deal love from Yamaha, with the YZ250F and YZ450F getting $750 and $500 cash back respectively, along with the 5.99% finance offer.
There's deals on pretty much every Yammy you can think of, from the XT660R and even AG bikes and ATVs aimed at farmers.
