Yamaha Fazer Blue-Flex

One for the Brazilian market, which runs on normal fuel, ethanol, or a mixture of both – a first for Yamaha, and expect to see more models with the same feature
Yamaha has unveiled an updated version of the YS250 Fazer for its key Brazilian market, but this one comes with a 'Blue-Flex' suffix.
Blue-Flex means it can burn normal fuel, ethanol (Brazil is a massive produce of ethanol) or a combination of both. That’s a first for Yamaha, and it says more models with the same capability will follow in the future.
The Blue-Flex model weighs less than 1kg more than the original Fazer, which is a 249cc single-cylinder with a five=speed transmission and a whopping 19.2-litre fuel tank.
Yamaha is targeting annual sales of 5000 in Brazil for the Blue-Flex model.
