Yamaha has unveiled an updated version of the YS250 Fazer for its key Brazilian market, but this one comes with a 'Blue-Flex' suffix.
Blue-Flex means it can burn normal fuel, ethanol (Brazil is a massive produce of ethanol) or a combination of both. That’s a first for Yamaha, and it says more models with the same capability will follow in the future.
The Blue-Flex model weighs less than 1kg more than the original Fazer, which is a 249cc single-cylinder with a five=speed transmission and a whopping 19.2-litre fuel tank.
Yamaha is targeting annual sales of 5000 in Brazil for the Blue-Flex model.
