Yamaha extreme enduro set for April

The Yamaha King of the Enduro X will be held at the Gillman Speedway in South Australia on April, 2013, catering for juniors right through to professionals

A mix of fast paced motocross, log jumping, rock smashing and tyre leaping enduro tests -- plus a dose of trials finesse -- is designed to appeal to riders and spectators alike.

The intense racing is helped by a monster of a track that throws up a number of obstacles including tabletops, whoops, sand sections, log hops, rock pits, tyres and walls.

The event was originally scheduled for October this year but will now take place on April 27, 2013 at Gillman Speedway in SA. The venue offers an amphitheatre atmosphere allowing an elevated view of the whole infield track.

The track is constructed with all level of riders in mind from juniors through to pros. This gives everyone an opportunity to ride and race in front of a crowd, under lights, on a purpose-built track… and compete for some serious prizes and cash.

Organiser Tristan Throup explains: "The event has been growing and intensifying every year, offering spectators and riders an awesome experience. The 2013 edition of the event is set to be the best yet. With the hype growing for endurocross globally, riders and supporters now include the Yamaha King of the Enduro X on their annual calendar."

Don’t miss your opportunity to race under lights at Yamaha King of the Enduro X.
