Yamaha Bolt C-Spec

The Bolt "has taken a hipster turn" with the new release, complete with clip-on handlebars, traditional fork gaiters and removable passenger seat cowl

Yamaha's Bolt C-Spec has gone on sale in Australia for $12,699 plus on-road costs, "blending retro styling with V-twin performance".

The C-Spec joins the Bolt and Bolt R-Spec in Yamaha's local Bolt line-up, and has clip-on handlebars, traditional fork gaiters, a removable passenger seat cowl and sport café paint and graphics. In addition, the footpegs have been moved rearwards to offer a more aggressive riding position. Piggyback ‘R-Spec’ shocks are fitted as standard.

It has a sportier stance than the Bolt and Bolt R-Spec thanks to the 41mm KYB fork, longer rear shocks, more ride height and cornering lean and stickier tyres. Triumph's Thruxton is in its sights.

The C-Spec is powered by a fuel-injected, 950cc, air-cooled, V-twin engine, mounted in a double-cradle frame. It has a five-speed gearbox and is belt-driven. A removable seat hump means the machine can go from solo cruising to two-up fun in seconds.

The Bolt C-Spec is available in two colour options — Liquid Silver and Envy Green, and comes with a factory-backed five-year warranty. Contact your local Yamah dealer for more information.
