WSBK schedule clarification

The opening world superbike race at Phillip Island on February 23, 2014 will be held at noon, and not earlier as a previous report has suggested

Phillip Island Motor Sports has clarified an erroneous report in a major Australian motorcycle media outlet about the start time for the opening Superbike World Championship race at Phillip Island on February 23, 2014.

The opening 23-lap race will be held at noon, and not 10:30am. The second race is at 2:40pm, with the world supersport event starting at 1:10pm.

Qualifying will feature two sessions at 3:00pm and 3.25pm Saturday – and prior to that the category will have four practice sessions (three timed and one untimed).
