World superbike schedule released

The start of the 2015 world title chase at Phillip Island will boast wall to wall racing
The schedule for the opening round of the 2015 Superbike World Championship, the Phillip Island Swann round, has been released, with a packed line-up of international and local racing.
The racing includes three local categories -- superbike, supersport, Moto3/125GP – competing in the first round of the national championship, while juniors will also be on the circuit as well.
In addition, superbike and supersport competitors will also compete in round one of the 2015 Phillip Island Championship – a crown that is fought out over Australia’s two world motorcycle events, World Superbikes and MotoGP, and was won in 2014 by Taree’s Josh Hook.
Freestyle motocross is also set to fire up the action, with massive mounds being constructed on the infield at Doohan Corner, Lukey Heights and Siberia. A troupe will perform at each on track interval, with spectators on the outfield getting a bird’s eye view of the dirt kings strutting their stuff.
Buy WSBK tickets in advance for the best deals, with a three-day pre-paid ticket $110*, saving $40 on the gate price.  On track camping is $90* for up to four nights under the stars, just metres from the beautiful, black strip of Phillip Island bitumen.  And for the final sweetener, kids 15 and under are totally free.
Advance ticket buyers get access to Free Paddock Friday, allowing them into the paddock to see the bikes and hear the world superbike stars for the first time in 2015 as they are interviewed in the Paddock Show.
Buy in advance and you also get express gate entry, no queues and free bike parking.
Regular world superbike attendees will be happy to know that gate three on The Gap Road is reopening on 2015, giving easy access to Siberia and Lukey Heights.
The Kids SuperZone is back with the free giant inflatable slide, volcanic island climbing wall, 10-seat chair-o-plane and face painting.
The world supers grid is taking shape with world champion, Sylvain Guintoli and leading riders Tom Sykes, Leon Haslam, Jonathan Rea all returning – some aboard new machinery.  There’s a host of new names, with Frenchman Randy de Puniet and 2014 world supersport champion, Michael van der Mark, joining the class.
